From some reason, this online letter reminded me of the days when Teresa attracted more than her fair share of haters. I wonder if she misses those days. I miss her blog responses to those people big time. -———————————————————-From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch April 8, 2017: -——————————I have been reading all the complaints on the subject of “For Better or for Worse” being dropped from the comics pages. I am as disappointed as anyone; that was one of my favorites and I will surely miss it. I think it was wrong for such a popular strip to be discontinued with no word of explanation, which caused outrage among fans.
But please people, can we not show a little kindness for Georgia Dunn and her quirky “Breaking Cat News”? Ms. Dunn cannot be blamed for the loss of “For Better or for Worse.” True, one has to be a cat lover to understand and appreciate the humor of cats reporting cat news centered on their own feline interests.
But let’s face it: Not all comics appeal to all people. I counted 34 strips in Wednesday’s paper, and of those I only regularly read 15. I cannot stand the others. Even so, I have yet to resort to burning my funny pages in protest.
With the state of affairs in our world today, maybe we all should simply read the funnies we enjoy and skip the ones we don’t. Let’s give Georgia Dunn and “Breaking Cat News” a fair chance.
I concur. His state is one that embodies a marked difference from that of an angry person. It is also markedly different from that of a rational person, but that is a matter for a different court of public opinion to decide, since his legal representation has filed for a change of venue. Of course, he hasn’t actually been charged or even suspected of a crime at this point, but his lawyer says it is best to stay out ahead of these things. His lawyer is a big fan of Gonzo Journalism.
HAS THERE BEEN AN ABRUPT CHANGE OF TODAY’S CONTENT?
The Comments preceding mine (which I am typing at about 6:45 AM Chicago time) do not seem to apply to the FA panel that I am now seeing [and I breezed through rapidly several hours ago and may have seen something different then, but I cannot say for sure].
The panel I am seeing is of two old ID badges with added dialogue and alterations by Teresa.

This is a cute blog post, but I’m gravely disturbed by it for some reason.
