They’re cattails. The mature flowering spike of a Typha species.

The edible part is the rhizome (the root), which is starchy rather than meaty.

While admiring the components of the assemblage I identified what appears to be a roof jack vent atop Henry Morton’s opaque projector.

Pourquoi? (maybe it was heat from the oxyhydrogen lamp?)

Are you grazing cows or dancing weenies?

Let’s see a little life, people!

Bob! You’re a weenie, not a possum. Don’t be afraid to move a little.

Read this - http://www.gq.com/story/how-to-name-your-hollywood-production-company -- any ideas for Teresa’s production company? Frog Applause Entertainment isn’t creative enough. Teresa’s has coined so many weird phrases, I know one of them is a better choice.

In addition to Teresa’s production company, let’s think of names for our own production companies. After all, production companies often collaborate on projects. What is your collaborating production company name doing business with Teresa’s company?

Those darn new-fangled magic lantern slides can be confusing: those sure look like dancing pussywillows or cattails (some such) to me. (Just sayin’….)

I confess. I ate the hot dog.

On the 11th day of Christmas, my true love sent to me: Eleven dancing weenies, ten flying burgers, nine golden arches…and a fruitcake in a bad way.
