Clap On • Clap Off – No Hands – The duck is thankful for it’s beak, duckbill, to switch the lights either on or off.. Although, the duck isn’t so thankful that the 24th of November is approaching..
I’m fascinated by that one dark tile that’s covering the duck’s back. What does it mean? Teresa never puts in something that has no meaning. Well…OK, never mind. Way, way back in my high school days we guys combed our hair back on the sides in what was called a “DA haircut”. One of the teachers wanted to know what DA stood for. Nobody would tell, and we had a lot of laughs, but teacher was furious and finally had to give up.
The three-dimensionality of this reticulate setting for the stooge-duck is clever, But note that the Duck is switched Off.
“Nothing can be done.” —Not in the case of Edmund Dantes, not in the case of Stooge-Duck. Teresa has condemned it to life in a cartoon. This is Tough Justice and a warning to all other ducks!

You have to wonder who is getting flipped off and who is getting the bird.

This isn’t the classic duck metaphor. No water.

When the self-flipping bird was first produced in 1628, people flocked to get them. It remains popular in spite of modern improvements.

Q: What is the difference between a duck?
A: One of its feet are both alike.

What is the duck trying to tell us?
That she’s turned off by tile mosaics?
She wants to live off the grid?
She wants to add a new wing?

She let his insults roll off her like water off a duck’s back.
