Teresa, like the universe, has many secrets. Until we are immortal, we shall always be ignorant of many things. Like where does lameness come from? Many answers, but all cannot be true. Accept, grasshopper, that omniscience is not your lot. Back to figuring out where your lap goes when you stand up.
Teresa, you’ve shown that you follow the comments -at least occasionally. This panel seems to follow along the lines of “Yes, we feel the love.”
Well, yes, and we all feel the loss of the Frog Blog. i suppose you got tired of doing it, or something in your life caused you to move on. Maybe your fans & followers were a little too devoted? Your reasons are your own. i for one am happy to see that FA caries on. Long may you carry it on! -gigagrouch .
I’m unfairly new to all this and never experienced the “Frog Blog” … feel like I missed out … but find all the navel contemplation and wordsmithing goin’ on here to be strangely addictive … help?
Yes, holy crap about sums it up, and I am a devoted lover of the Saint Frog. I will forever whine about the demise of the blog and all the fun that came with it, but that is just because I am a petulant fan and the hole in my heart can only be filled with froggy muse. Or maybe the hole is just from that sucker punch from Vlad. Please abuse me some more please.
Communication is like an old shoe, comfortable and familiar. But after a while you feel every pebble, and water comes in every time you have to cross a small puddle or some wet grass. At some point, you have to either get new shoes or start wearing sandals, if the weather is nice. But then you have to get a pedicure and spend all that time keeping it up. You just want to get some cheap Mossimos at Target or something and put the whole mess behind you and walk on. After all, it isn’t rocket science, so far as you know.
Call me paranoid, but whenever Teresa does one of these fourth-wall things, I tense up. I’m convinced that something bad is about to hit the fan and the mess is gonna end up all over us and anyone who’s strayed into Froglandia. Bad for tourism, by the way.
It makes a Froglander think. Is this straight from Sister Teresa’s mouth? (I saw a “sister” on last Saturday’s Svengoolie movie this morning.Sic). Or is this a quotation from some fan’s mail to sister via the Overlords?
What does it matter? What does it matter?
The analysis seems thoughtful enough, until the third panel, where the tone gets markedly bossy and shrill. Be not afraid, sister! We are with you, blog or no, until the end of Frog Applause (maybe even beyond, if there is an FA afterlife). Such are my musings….
What makes you happy or fulfilled about your lame cartoon?
Do that.
Blog advice?
You seemed to enjoy doing it. You seemed to enjoy the freedom from the restrictive GoComics’ stercus taurinum that the blog gave you (I just wish you could have found a way to monetize it (if for no other reason because I felt guilty getting it for free)).
Last time, when Frog Blog disappeared, Frog Applause followed. I’m afraid it’s resurrection might cause the same scenario if Teresa pulls the plug again.

When absurdity becomes the norm,
Does that mean, the normal are absurd ?
Perhaps we are expecting too much from Theresa ?
Or perhaps, Teresa expects too much from us ?
