We HAD a pear tree, not to mention a black cat and a gray cat. But they never went up the pear tree. And it never got enough sun to actually produce good pears. Neither did the cherry tree. Not that I expected it to ever produce pears. But it didn’t really produce cherries, either. Too crowded and not enough sunlight. I guess you can call that sulky negativism. I know I would. It was a dark and dangerous world, really. It still is. I’ve just gotten used to it, I guess.

Only a fool tries to follow the devilish cats.
Figs are in season, and fig trees make for nice, easy climbing.
Cheerios and flour make a nice collage, and conspiracy theories always add zest to what’s cooking!
