feefers, that is an hilarious story. In the upcoming October 29 strip the action is based on something my sister’s very, very small dog did with a queen sized blanket!
When I had my first two beagles, I woke up one morning with both of them under the covers. I had never had a dog do that before. After the first time, I just lifted the covers when I got in bed and they crawled to their respective sides. Apparently, they sometimes crawled out, got cold, and got me to lift the covers again in my sleep. They would nose at the edge of the covers. It’s easier for me to move around when dogs are under the covers, I found out. Current dog sleeps under the covers mostly only in the winter. She spent her first hunting years before I adopted her sleeping in a crate, and I let her sleep as she wants to in my bed.
I have a 19 pound Maine Cooncat mix who likes to hide under very, very small blankets. He is not quite successful at this, since his big feet stick out.

Oh, so funny. I am surprised that the duvet is in one piece.

My lurcher Zebedee once got lost in my parents duvet cover. They woke up freezing to see the duvet walk out the bedroom door

Darcy used to tap on the comforter for entrance. She’d keep tapping until I awoke and let her under. Simon…couldn’t be bothered.

Everyone in my house gets stomped on. When Dad wakes up, he has a demand for Monroe to play attack the sheet.
