Indeed! Cwesling’s cousins will be here on Saturday to help eat the metric crapton of food Dad’s making. Dad already shared some turkey neck meat with the cats. He made stuffing from scratch today. Bear loved it.
We had a beagle many years back, who stared fixedly as you took a bite until you gave her a bite, and another, and another. No matter if you gave her your entire sandwich, she would happily take the last bite right out of your mouth.
I literally LOL-ed. Their varying expressions are hilarious. Little Floof’s look of pain is pricelessly adorable. XOXO Aunty Tammy will give you some turkey and grave baby, just a taste. XOXO
Our Beagle/Basset/Jack Russell mix (Peaches) would actually suck in her cheeks to make her face look thinner, and her eyes bigger, when she begged at the table. She knew to go to guests’ chairs since we got wise to her brilliant acting. To this day, I am unmoved by ‘big eyes’ at human and animal feeding time. My two cat boys do not like human food, fortunately.

Oh, yes. Each of us has a special dish that others look forward to each year. A friend made the best ever rolls, something I could never seem to do.

I’m sure they all want just a taste. Please

Great expression on each of the faces!
I think I like Stella’s the best. She’s bringing the attitude. I love her water goblet.

Since most pets, and some family, inhale their food before you even pick up a fork, it looks like their bowls are empty.

Sirius looks worried he won’t get any. Poor wee pup

Syrius has always been my favorite and I love his pose, but the pose of Floof with the big cat begging eyes is adorable!

That turkey drumstick is looking pretty good to me. I can’t believe the pups haven’t created a diversion and run off with it.
I can’t wait for tomorrow. I do love Thanksgiving. Such a happy holiday (for most of us — I know there are so many who are in need).

The different expressions are priceless.Give the furries a bit of turkey!

I’m sure Mrs. Oldman will be kind enough to share…even if the fur babies have to guilt her into it. :-D

Take the other leg and about ½ of a turkey breast and shred it and serve with some warm gravy. You will have some new friends very shortly.
