    Yes, they are.

My two younger cats went to the vet for the usual. Monroe loved going, and got cooed at by the vet. She said he looks so much better than the last time she saw him. Bear was also a good girl, and is also healthy.

I fear Shawm is right about that! I’ve had some bad experiences with vets!

The good ones are. I’ve only met good ones, but I’m sure there are bad ones out there.

Missy went last week, and the vet said she purred the entire time and worked on socialization skills. Whadda cat!

Shawm is correct, but I’ve known a few cats and dogs that would make good nurses.

My vet tells me he hates beagles. Then he loves mine all up and praises me for keeping my dogs at a healthy weight. He swears that some beagles bounce off the walls, the ceilings, are very overweight, and they bark all the time. Mine, he just picks her up and walks off with her, chuckling that she fits just like a football under his arm.

When my vet would see Felix for his anal gland expressing, he would say, “Could have been an accountant, but Noooo, I had to be a vet…” Felix would turn his head to the side, pull his ears back, crouch and start saying, “NOM NOM NOM” and the vet and the vet tech would jump back. Yelling, “He’s gonna bite!” I was the only one Felix would allow to pick him yo until he was 20 years and 2 months old. I was picking him up to put him in the carrier and a dog barked, he clamped onto my finger and got his teeth wedged between the joint bones and into the tendon. $10,000 worth of surgery to fix that.

When I first saw the name of the vet, I thought it was about Pets Being Petty (like Narrow Minded). But I guess my brain is on slow-mode as I had to think a moment, and then I got it! Pets being Petted on!
