I only had one White Christmas, when it snowed in South Texas on Christmas Eve 2004. It was known as the “Christmas Miracle” locally by some newspaper accounts and a radio announcer at the time I believe played the “Snow Meisser/Heat Meisser” song from “The Year Without a Santa Claus” Christmas stop-animated cartoon by Ranklin-Bass from the 1970s. About the later, I grew up watching the reruns of all their Christmas cartoons plus a few classic ones from the preTV era that played in TBS on Christmas Eve, along with “It’s a Wonderful Life” of course.
We got just under an inch last night and with the temps remaining 30’ish and a bit more forecast for tomorrow, we might have a white Christmas after all. Our biggest problem is hoping that sidewalks are cleared and the accessible parking spots are open for Hubs to be able to negotiate them in his walker.

Clean, fresh snow. What a wonderful sight and just before Christmas.

This is driving me crazy. R-O-C ??
Can we just move that panel border a little to the right so I can see the rest of that, please?
And, by the way, it is supposed to start snowing here in about two hours, so Kate’s “permission” is working.

I almost miss snow. We rarely get to freezing here.

I have no reason to believe that Kate does not control the weather.

We had a surprise snow of an inch or so the other evening. It was nice. Nice because we knew it would melt away the next day or so…
Snow is best seen in a painting hanging on the living room wall. Now who did I get that from???

Kate’s hair sure beats Linus’s.

It sounds like she’s challenging someone who’s trying to stop it from snowing.
Here, it looks like the 25th will be rainy at best, but we’ve already had at least three inches this Autumn.

No snow here in St. Louis. I doubt there will be much snow for us going into the future.
