In a grad school grammar class, we were debating why, if the conjugations of “sing” are “sing, sang, sung”, the conjugations of “bring” aren’t “bring, brang, brung”. This led to us saying “done brang it”, as in “How’d you do on that test?” and “I done brang it!” (“I did great.”) Fun memories.
