It’s the end of the world, Garfield is acting like a real cat.

I’ve noticed that a few readers are spelling “Laser” all wrong…It is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emmission Of Radiation. While its a barrell of laughs to playwith your cat, please be very careful and don’t shine the thing in their eyes… I have both a red and a modified green laser and have stopped using it for that purpose.

I have been following Garfield almost since the day this strip started way back in the 1980s and I think this is the closest he’s ever been to actually acting like a real cat. It is interesting. Unusual, obviously. I think I like it because it gets Garfield out of the rut that this character has been in for too long. So I guess I’m saying: More!
