Not a good idea to lie down in an active pasture. The cattle will bug the heck out of you, and there’s fresh poo everywhere.

You could actually see the stars then.

Wonderful memories of doing that, but it was on the lawn. Taught myself astronomy that way. Now, in the city, all you can see is the brighter stars.
