Some dogs do comedy very well. Examples include Eddie the dog in Frasier and Astor the dog in the Thin Man movies.

My ancient little bulldog is now completely blind and deaf but still loves to explore the backyard. One morning while I was having coffee on the patio I watched as she walked right up to a squirrel. They sniffed each other’s face then went their separate ways. I’m happy the squirrels seem to understand her blind curiosity.

Is that dog related to Dug from “Up”?

At least it wasn’t how bad dogs are at knock knock jokes. I’ve seen that one probably ten times.

Many years ago we used to have Old English Sheepdogs. They have many fine qualities but intelligence is not one of them. Ours used to chase squirrels in the park but about half the time they would bark up the wrong tree.

I love this. It reminds me of the grandkids trying to do ‘knock-knock’ jokes before they understood. It was hilarious.

That’s me doing chores. Every shiny new project comes to mind and I’m off in a different direction. Over and over and over.

Ha. Real cats are just as interested in squirrels.
