He must’ve run out of food.

This is an analogy for lady’s getting their period isn’t it…

If you lower people’s expectations of you enough you can only surprise them pleasantly…

Although, if you lower people’s expectations enough you never get invited anywhere for anything.

Like I said before, Garfield is a hypocrite; he teases Jon for being stupid when around Liz, yet he’s no better when he’s around Arlene.
