So far, the so-called meditation hasn’t been calming.

Jon, let your cat find peace.

You sure this isn’t supposed to be a Monday strip?

And we’re out of lasagna…

Garfield has not discovered the delight that is latte.

Why am I thinking Kermit the Frog when they do the same thing to his legs?

This is why I have a break glass key box on the wall of my flat with powdered creamer and freeze dried coffee. In an emergency you better be prepared.

He could do without cafe au lait, but this is too much to deal with.

Out of coffee? Say it isn’t so! You better go get some right now Jon!

Ouch.

In The Ballad of Dan by The Arrogant Worms a new manager forgets to order coffee for the store and it ends in total destruction as people go through caffeine withdrawal.

Jon;says to Garf, They’re talking about closing all the pizza and donut shops.

Lucky for Jon that Garfield is meditating.

There are just some things that meditation can’t take care of…

I get cranky if my blood/caffeine levels aren’t properly maintained.

I’m not normal until I’ve had my first cup of coffee and I’ve never drank coffee. Sooo!

As long as they’re not also out of cookies, then Jon’s really in trouble

And we’re out of frozen pizza.

The end of the world is at hand an Garfield’s nonplussed. I guess that’s why they call it catastrophe!

So it’s the end of the world. A new one will start right up.

Jon’s world will end if he doesn’t get to the store.

The city just outlawed donuts.

There’s always Joe’s Roastary where Rat works. Sometimes.

No coffee? Yet Garfield is too calm to panic about it? I guess meditation really is doing wonders for him.

Unfortunately, being out of milk does not disturb meditation, but being out of coffee can lead to ‘pre-meditation’.

The silence before the pizza boy presses the doorbell.

Whew! For a minute I though he was going to say “…and we’re out of donuts!”

now you are talking about a real problem

So go to the grocery store Jon. Geez!

I can relate, Garfield. I’m very careful to watch my coffee supply so I don’t run out.
