So far, nobody has mentioned Fred Basset’s friend Yorky.

Jim Davis has explained that he decided on a cat strip as an alternative to the many popular comic strip dogs and listed three – Snoopy, Marmaduke and Fred Basset. Fred Basset starred in his own animated cartoon in the 1970s before the Garfield strip began. Jock and Yorky appeared in several episodes.

There’s also “100% Wolf”, with the guy who turns into a poodle instead of a werewolf.

At least it’s better than the movie where someone is turned into a chicken (this movie doesn’t exist)

“The Yorkie Werewolf” is an actual independent film I saw at a festival earlier this year. Look it up — it’s in the IMDb!
