Why do I have this sneaking suspicion the Wallets are about to solve the mystery of the Mecklenburg Resolves?

There was no one on the planet Jefferson could or should have been jealous.

“There has never been a greater concentration of intellectual power here at the White House since Thomas Jefferson dined alone.” – JFK, speaking at a White House dinner for every living American Nobel laureate.

Always jarring to remember that Jefferson also had slaves.

And then we had the 2004 Bush-Kerry election; a choice between two C students. Tragic. The scary thing is that Bush had the higher GPA.

Say wasn’t it Billy Joel who sang about a Captain Jack who could make you get high? Hmmmm.

Could it be that the papers Captain Jack stuffed in his jacket were actually Cashmere’s bill, and the Resolves are still in the saddlebags? (I do that kind of thing more often than I care to admit.)

Great idea, Fangirl! I like when posters make interesting speculations— they’re like alternate realities to canonical Gasoline Alley… though your speculation may well be right!

Is Scancarelli floating alternative or revisionist history here?
