I nice start to a new storyline.

How nice of the Warden to have his father’s picture up.He became a warden to be close to him.

The new character has kind of a Woody Allen air about him, and that prison guard looks just like that GA cop. Is he moonlighting?

On this particular con—Scancarelli “borrows” from Disney’s villainous Beagle Boys. The guy’s been in so long (since before electric-chair was phased out in favour of needle) that he’s forgotten his name and knows only his number.

And I guess his dialog also reinforces that—when he hears about the chair, he assumes it’s electrified.

I noticed that. I think we still have “the chair” here in Florida. Still, it’s a pretty old way to get a laugh. Has there even BEEN a laugh in GA for a while? I chose not to comment through that last ten-week Slim story. Someone had mentioned the “walk in the woods.” Guess it’s over, huh? Jim should do what he wants to do with the strip….it’s his, after all…. but I think it’s kinda sad.
