I just received my copy of Gasoline Alley reprints (starting with the first “panel” in 1918), and I gotta say that Jim Scancarelli has been interpreting the old characters in a terriffically vivid and lively way. Good goin’, Jim.
Now I know why Jim took off last year. He was busy preparing for the anniversary. Good work Jim.
Reminds me of how The Three Stooges washed a baby once, except it was using their dog-washing system. See it here:

I’ve been reading Gasoline Alley for years. I’m glad to see the characters from yesteryear.
