What a well done daily. A clever use of the background, the story moves along nicely and some clever dialog. Salute!

For Joel, the jug (and his pipe) are needed medicine to deal with the frustrations and challenges in life in trying to guide Rufus.

For Rufus…. he should avoid the jug…. he does not have enough brain cells to risk losing even one.

With the way Rufus acts (when not guided by Joel)…. I can fully understand the ladies implication about being passed out in the vineyard….. but she doesn’t realize Rufus acts that way drunk or sober .
