Start with the sugar-free stuff, get the kid started on liquids. … THEN switch to Pedialyte! In where I live, they USED to raise their kids drinking MOUNTAIN DEW right off the bat!!!

Really bad idea, if only for the caffeine. As a PA he should know this and recommend something like Pedialite or even flavored water.

I’d find another doctor/PA fast if mine recommended giving any soda, sugar-free or not, to a baby. That is just wrong.
