He’d fly through the air with the greatest of ease,
That daring young man on the flying trapeze.
His movements were graceful, all girls he could please
And my love he stolen away.
“And I thought I saw everything, til I seen an elephant fly”!I (Dumbo)..
Walt’s a little rattled but soon regains his composure.
You mean Cirque du Soleil!
That dashing young man on the flying trapeze.
Walt flies through the air with the greatest of ease……
It’s called “Cirque de Soleil”. It was the first circus not to use animal acts out of concern over the treatment of the animals.
I think Walt means Cirque du Soleil.
We need a flashback to Walt and company going to see “Circus Soleil” (Cirque du Soleil)!
The flying elephants are all in Congress.
Eddie Cantor sang it this way….
He flies through the air with the greatest of ease
I pray that some day while he’s up there he’ll sneeze
And fall down and land on his big fat trapeze
Cause my love he has stolen away
How many different people can say the same thing, that Walt should have have said “Cirque du Soleil”? Maybe the quality of the posters, like the quality of the strip, has slipped a bit, too.
