Looks like today’s strip is a play on word? Don’t take it wrong, (“No te lo tomes a mal”), but I need some time, you are too absorbent. But the te in this case is té, the teabag. I think that’s the gist of it.
Judge Parker Sophie says her wealthy stepmom Abbey dropped her at the doctor’s office. Does she remember that she and her sister are independently wealthy? Is she ignoring the fact that Sam & Abbey’s solution to her problems was to leave her alone to wreck part of the house and move into the basement? Does she forget that it was Marie who suggested visiting the doctor or that it was in Marie’s arms that she rode to the doctor’s office?

MANDRAKE: We have a problem with smokers standing under the overhang that protects the entry door to the local public library (smoking right in front of the entry door is a “No-No,” and the location is well posted with No Smoking signs). I wonder if I could get away with trying Narda’s maneuver on some of those folks…! lol
