Doggie Physiology Dogs are not totally color blind. They can distinguish between blue, yellow and gray, but may not see red and green - similar to our color registration at twilight. Dogs possess one of the best noses in nature. While humans have about 5 million olfactory cells, dogs can have as many as 225 million. Where we smell soup cooking, a dog very well may be able to discern the individual ingredients cooking in the soup. In addition to panting, dogs regulate their body temperature by sweating through the pads of their feet.
I should get another dog
