Bucky must have wanted the evidence to be found in his dresser, or he would have planted it somewhere neutral. He’d still be the obvious suspect.
I think Satch is taking the path of lease resistance. If he came to another conclusion he’d get a lot of resistance from Bucky up side his head.
Why that cat is still alive is beyond me. You would have thought that there might be a nice high dollar contract out on him.
