Oh for the good old days when songs didn’t have all those swear words!
And movies you could see with a first date, and not feel as if you needed to crawl under the seat.
It shouldn’t have swear words now. It just ruins the integrity of the song
They didn’t?
YouTube Country Joe and the Fish, Woodstock.
Swears just didn’t get airplay is all.
I used to joke that parents complained about our music: “You can’t even understand the lyrics!” Well, now you can: happy?
Happy: Still, no comparison to some of the non-melodic filth that passes for music today. And at least Joe and the Fish were making an anti-war statement, not just being vulgar for the sake of vulgarity, like the hoods making recordings today.
You should never throw out cassette tapes, at least not until the tape player has eaten them.
