Now Kemper can bow up to his dad now that Gil gave him that verbal Fist O’ Justice yesterday.
And here comes Torrey to grind the last of her dad’s dignity under her metaphorical thigh-high vinyl stilettos. She’s got a bright future whipping high-powered executives for money.
Football starts just after Kemper goes out and wins the Valley Juniors, beating Chris Stiles who doesn’t have any energy left after a nightputting session. Well played, Torrey, well played.
Dad = manical controling father who never wanted to see his kids lose at any cost.
Mom = raging alcoholic
Son = good boy in the family always bowing to parental pressure
Daughter = free spirit who went along with big brother, but now has the taste of something she likes and is Ms. Independent. I see a teen pregnecy coming into the strip soon. Has that happened in MILFord yet?
‘Bout time for Carl to grow a pair and man up. First the Gilfather publicly undresses him, then he rolls over in front of Kemper and finally Torrey delivers the haymaker.
My guess is his redemption will include lining the gridiron before Milford football games and sweeping the bleachers afterwards. And, supporting Mrs. Peake through her AA journey.

Dad looks 15 years older in P2, where’s mom and what does she have to say about all of this?

She left him and ran off with Mr. Kesler.

Can’t Carl be redeemed somehow? Apologize publicly at the links and do 100 hours of community work.
Family counseling at the Thorps would be a step in the right direction. Then again the Thorps know nothing about keeping families together.
If the kids can be written out of the strip they can be written back in, but say good-by to deck duty.
