The Burrito Man is going to go nuclear. Could get pretty ugly when he finds out who else is seeking the coveted Library Board seat. BTW, it would be nice if Mrs. Wampfler told us how many people with nothing better to do are in the running!!!!
Sorry Chief ,I only cover Milford High school sports . Maybe Chief you should give this to Scoop Sullivan he’s our crime reporter .Don’t call me Chief ,and don’t let the door hit you in the A— Marjie !
P1, That’s doesn’t answer the question, do you know the family?
P2, Since we didn’t get our dose of Marjie at the beginning of baseball season, today we get a double dose.
P3, Maybe. Insane Zane is the senior class VP which likely makes him pretty bright, at least by Milford standards so he may be leaving for college in September if he can get Mopman to take over his janitor job, so even if he wins the election, he’ll still only have a couple of months on the job before there is an opening again.
Tomorrow’s Star sports section should lead with the failure of both the boy’s and girl’s teams to win the conference due to the focus at the Brillo household.
You ever think that the staff of the Milford Star, a non-student newspaper produced and read by adults, are a little too up-to-date on what the local teenagers are up to?
Interesting indeed. When Zane’s first campaign billboard shows a grainy picture of (maybe) Abe measuring the computer area for the new stripper pole installation, Marion the Librarian becomes his campaign manager.
The “Thing” in P3 is much too big to touch those tiny buttons on the phone. Must be reaching for Milford’s newest communications breakthrough, the rotary phone.
This makes perfect sense. The reference desk librarian finds out that a high school senior is going to run(?) against his girlfriend’s father for the open Library Board seat. So the librarian calls the local newspaper, and the editor asks the sports reporter for info on the families. So now, what? It’s going to be on the front page? When in reality, the librarian would not care, and if she really did call the newspaper, the editor would say, “why do we care?” and just hang up.
And speaking of caring, most people care when Mopped Up Thorp is published. Which reminds me, it was published just now!

Grown adult Marjie seems a little creepy the way she knows so much personal stuff about local high school kids

Whoa, this is going to be Marjie’s biggest scoop since the Chet Ballard illegal records-search scandal!
