Who is Sparky? Sparky Anderson (who died in 2010) would have been “only” 88 today.

Don Salvatore (“Sparky”) from Goshen, revolutionized the collection industry by using blowtorches and flame throwers. Happy Birthday, since we’re giving shoutouts to friends and relatives.

Is this an in game commercial of the VT vs Milford 1987 game tape? Charlie Brown tastes some kindness and becomes a huge success? This is the monster created by GilPa?

Charles Schultz’s birthday today. He always worked, took maybe one vacation his career. He thought he might run out of ideas if he took time off. Peanuts is 8 or 9 years older than Gil. That strip generates millions of dollars of revenue.

Well, the kick may have been good if the field goal was from 4 yards out with a CFL goalpost placement at the front of the endzone.

Charlie Brown’s life is tough enough without playing for Gil.

Coaches Held Hostage: Coach Kaz, Day 46. 46 is the name of the defense that Buddy Ryan created and employed to lead the ‘85 Bears to the Super Bowl Championship. It was named after safety Doug Plank’s uniform number. It was a big deal back then when offenses used two running backs and two wide receivers, but it’s no longer effective with the greater number of receivers used today. 46 is also the number of chromosomes in the human body — 23 pairs. And Joe Biden is considered the 46th president of the U.S. (Grover Cleveland counts as two presidents because he served non-consective terms.)

Of course there’s a huge question… where the hell are they going to find a helmet big enough to fit the bald kid?
