I’m not agains this plot: it’s a nice way to contextualize the fact we mostly see Gil so focused on his work. But I do think having the biggest queer plot in the comic be about an affair is a tad dicey, and that it’s spread so far out. It’s taken us THIS long to get to the slow breakup of the marriage. And it’s STILL not set in stone what exactly’s happening.
