Common sense doesn’t expect children to scrounge their breakfast in the woods.

But poison ivy does grow on trees. Are you sure you want to send them off to forage on their own?

Take away her licence, quickly. She is trying to kill the kids. Poke berry, Deadly Nightshade, White Snakeroot, Rosary Pea, Pokeweed, Daffodil, Water hemlock…

Sad that folk anymore only think food comes from stores in boxes. Summer camp is an ideal place.. under supervision.. to go out and forage. Perhaps some raspberries.. saskatoons.. huckleberries.. fish.. mushrooms. Perhaps the camp is close to a farm and there is an opportunity to gather real eggs.

Geez, and I have trouble opening a box of Pop Tarts. (They brought back the peanut butter type!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Let’s see if the fearless “leader” can walk the walk….
