When I was young we were lucky to have a fan
I still prefer a fan over A/C. If the temperature is in the 80s or 90s and the humidity is low, I use a fan. If the temp gets up in that range in high humidity, the A/C gets turned on. So far this summer, I’ve used it only for a total of 3 days.
