We were on it when FB first started and had a lot of political stuff back then and the election too. However after a major virus got my machine and 3 days to fix my husband said you stay on it and next time you fix it. While I knew how to fix some of it, some I needed help with. However wasn’t worth another virus…..so I never went back.Hubby’s up their now for the first time to join the Flickr groups and picture groups for even more info on the machine we got to use to do water drops etc. He was telling me about all the music groups up there etc. I said “not interested” I have my own music and like it. I do too, as I have all the 45s I have bought from 9 years of age to my early 20s. In addition to albums and cassettes. So they have nothing to interest me. My friends I had that went to FB after many forums shut down on BHG, Prevention etc. The ones I really cared for a lot and wrote to by email I still write to them and them to me….the others started their own private group (the ones on it were the ones I didn’t like on BHG so was fine by me LOL)
As for these kids I agree with Kate she is not making a case but making a fool out of herself and acting like someone who is not ready for that step to “social media” as they call it.

Maturity is obviously not a requirement. Too many examples to choose from, so I’ll stop there.

Maturity is sorely lacking on social media!

Physical maturity is when the last coccyx bones fuse and your frontal lobe develops in your middle 20’s.
