Office Depot has special days for teachers that used to be loaded with all sorts of classroom freebies and if you got there early enough free breakfast pastries and caffeinated beverages. But who wants to get to a stationery store at 6:00 am on a Saturday morning?
Long ago, when I was a counselor at a middle school, they let teachers dress very casually. Some of them actually wore sweats to work, and they weren’t coaches. I’m not against some degree of casual dress, but I thought that was very unprofessional.
