Kate has a “Someone,” too, just like I do.

It’s a shame Kate has to do ALL the work with two able bodied grandchildren there.

Took me three days to decorate the darn thing and three days to un do it. Tried and failed to get two trees worth of decorations on one tree. One of many pitfalls of downsizing.

You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Kate. It’s a shame you didn’t also know it would be thankless.

So, after the twin’s parents died, Kate was supposed to turn her Grandchildren over to Child Services & let them be put in an orphanage, or farmed out separately to foster homes, likely never to see each other, or their Grandma, ever again!?!?!? And I’m quite sure she’s familiar with thanklessness, she raised one child furr shurr.

In one strip, Kate’s neighbor, Mrs. Sanderson, was boring her to death about one of their many vacations. Kate heard a crash from the house, ran in, hugged the kids, even though they broke her lamp. Sure would like to see her neighbor, Ed, and her friend, Judy more often. Mr. Sanderson, too, as long as he’s not jogging. You would need to wash you eyes with Clorox after that disc was burned.
