My drafting instructor said to write our names across the top of the seating chart tab. It was about 2 cm by 3 cm and I have a long name, but I made it fit.
I once asked a student to hit the lights right before showing a movie. Then, remembering what kind of student he was, I stopped him halfway there and said, “On second thought, maybe you should just turn them off instead.” Sure enough, after the movie, I checked in with him privately, and he had planned to slap the wall by the switches!
This reminds me years of ago when my eighth grade math teacher said that one time during a test, a kid not only copied another student’s answers but even copied the student’s NAME on his exam! I thought that was hilarious! And it’s been since 1973 and I never forgot that!

I would write “your actual name”. Just following directions.

“Any paper with a name will get an ‘F’” Easy to figure out when you compare your papers to the roster.

And if you’re not confident on how you did, write someone else’s name.

You should. You’ve had them for about 20 years now.

There’s always at least one.
