Swimming in the Susquehanna River and local farmer’s pond (with his permission) was way more sanitary than the local pool.
We call it “people soup.”
One hopes the dilution rate is sufficient but you do worry.

We had a pool in the back yard. I have never gone swimming in a public pool. The last pool we had was in 1974.
