Removed my beard at 60 to clear away the grey (to make myself look younger for job hunting) and discovered the face behind the beard was even older looking without it so I immediately grew the beard again. Looks better with the beard, and the grey, than without it.
Nothing wrong with looking my age and it’s still the only grey to be seen. The only reason I ever shaved in the first place was that the military required it, something to do with getting a good seal on gas masks and such… also hygiene in the field. The day I retired from the service was the day I stopped shaving.
