It has always been easy. Just read the manual, have the manual handy when you start and just do one at a time. 1. Connect TV to program source, antenna, cable box or satellite. If you have more than on source then connect tv to switch and switch to sources. Test your connection/s 2. TV to recorded media device, Blue ray, DVD, VCR. If you have more than one, or more than the tv can handle, use a switch box to switch sources. Test your connections. 3. Audio connections of you have them. Test the finished units. HDMI cables make it so much easier than RCA jacks. I set up our main tv, satellite connection, blu-ray, dvr, dvd, VCR and audio system in less than one hour with a switch for the non-satellite inputs, RCA to HDMI box for the VCA and dedicated HDMI port on the TV for the audio. As well as a USB from the TV to the internet and now we can watch YouTube and our internet streamers on the big tv. May not be much, but we like the all in one package.
