I do agree with his point, but I’ve never heard “concepting” and “conversating.” Yesterday, in a football game on TV, I kept hearing the noun “contain”; I can only guess that it means “containment.”
I do not remember when nouns weren’t verbs, and you don’t either if you’ve ever raked with a rake, plowed with a plow, screwed in a screw, hammered with a hammer, went boating or sailing, kissed a kiss, smelled a smell… I could go on and on.
