Mrs. Angelini: Listen, you got nothing to worry about. Losing a job is no big thing. my father always had at least three jobs. Always changing, too, losing this job or that. But we survived. Mom: Yeah, but times are different. You're supposed to count on that one solid job to carry you. Mrs. Angelini: The problem today is, you don't know how to be poor! Back then, nobody had money, so we never missed it! Heart: But now we've got TV to remind us what we're missing!
“Nobody had money”? That’s not how capitalism works. You just didn’t know the people who had all the money.
