Once you're approved, 10% is immediately deducted from your total! Mom: But then I'll have to pay 20% interest for the credit. So in actuality, I'll end up paying an additional 10%, right? Not only that, but now the store has made it easier for me to overextend myself with yet another credit card, plus they can track my purchases and sell my demographic information to other retailers. So now tell me again how this benefits me? Woman: I'm just following orders, ma'am. Mom: Where have I heard that before?
