Did you see where those two young cops in New Jersey stopped Bob Dylan (yes, THAT Bob Dylan) and questioned him, and had NO idea who Bob Dylan was? If he had been one of the Jonas Brothers, they probably would have known him right off - probably gotten his autograph also (They were both early 20s - 22, 24 or so)

His next response “Define ‘Jealousy”. If we recall, he has no idea that Heart sometimes considers him her boyfriend.

Given that Dean has become nearly as central to the strip as Heart, perhaps a title change IS in order. Tatulli can do a “Funky Winkerbean” and jump ahead to the kids’ college years, and retitle the strip “Dean of the University.”

Now wasn’t Nick or Kevin that’s engaged to be married? Tough luck, Heart. The same when it comes to Joe.

@Ushindi Trust me, as a 24 year old I can speak for myself and most of my friends when I say that I’d be much more likely to be interested in Dylan wandering down my street than the Jonas Brothers — and frankly, I find it a bit creepy when anyone older than 10th grade or so gets too into a Disney band. Anyway, what does my age group have to do with a comic strip about grade schoolers?

Also, I don’t think they had no idea who Bob Dylan was. I think they just didn’t believe him, which is probably fair given that he wasn’t carrying ID.

Also he was PEERING INTO HOUSES, which can also be construed as creepstery.
