Hmmm… I just noticed that Dean isn’t mentioned at all in the “About Heart of the City” paragraph to the right of the page, even though he is a much more prominent supporting cast member than either Mrs. Angelini or best friend Kat.
Not that this has anything to do with today’s strip or the current heady (or Heddy or Hedley) discussion. I’m just sayin’, is all…

My guess would be the paragraph is very outdated, as Dean was not in the strip at the beginning. The fact that Heart and Kat haven’t talked wedding since the times when Leonardo DiCaprio was a titanic superstar (no pun intended) is also proof of this.
Or maybe the people who write those read the first few strips and don’t think much of the whole deal.

I’m pretty sure the blurb is just outdated.
Back to today’s strip: They might call it “Dead Heart Drop”, but it might confuse people into thinking they’re in Australia…

Don’t bother calling it Lookout Hill, Miss LaMarr. Calvin already named a hill so for that’s what you yell when going down it.

She’s braver than me, and I’m a guy. Of course, I don’t risk my life doing insane stunts… though I have always wanted to skydive.
… What was I typing about?

It’s not the drop that’s dangerous, it’s the sudden deceleration that’s Heart-stopping.
