gmartin, I was specifically referring on baggy clothes on little kids. I’ll admit it was a bit of a sideways jump, since Darkeforce had said "little kids like Dean*, and Dean here is certainly wearing his clothes as a “statement.” Although I don’t think Dean has “defiance” in mind, more like “copying what is regarded as ‘Rad.’”
Now that University of New Mexico football player who got arrested at the S.F. airport because he refused to pull up his sagging pants on the airplane (his beltline was below his buttocks) probably DID have “defiance” in mind, although all he effectively defied was common sense.
