Hey, it worked that one time the Fantastic Four helped Spiderman free himself from his black costume symbiote, and the Human Torch lent him an old FF uniform (without boots) and a paper bag to cover his head (also a ‘Kick Me’ sign on the back) so Spidey could get back home.

I once knew a real Bag Man..oh,oh, better not go there. Rembering that could cause me harm.

Shouldn’t he start out as “Bag Boy” and work his way up?

Hero of the grocery store…able to pack tall bags without breaking anything.

Yep. Work his way up to bagging the baddies and putting them on ice for a while.

Is that the Bag Signal? Quick, to the Bagmobile! (And bring plenty of Bag-arangs.)

Strangely, Bag Man keeps allowing one notorious criminal to escape. He’s always letting the Catwoman out of the Bag.

I guess Dean tried to fight his way out of a paper bag and lost. Not much of an origin story, that…

Of course, if he ever DID fight his way out, he’d reveal his secret identity. It’s a Lose/Lose situation.

Is Bag Man similar to a Bag Lady?

Back in the late 70’s early 80’s there was a radio program on WGCL radio on Sunday evenings called The Uncle Vick Show. One of the reoccuring characters was The Bag Man. He was called this because he was known to partake of a little herbage now and again. This strip brought back some pleasant memories. A very funny show indeed.

This feels like a rerun, but it may be because I know Dean’s worn a paper bag before.
