Heart: Hey, mom! Mrs. Angelini was just telling me about the old days when they had to actually chop their own salad! Mom: Ah, yes, such dark and desperate times...
Excuse me Mom, you hired Mrs. Angelini to cook for you. Why are you buying expensive prepared bagged salad, instead of a head of lettuce for her to chop up for you? You’re paying her anyway!
It’s a lot more fun to buy all the lettuce and other veggies and make your own salad.Does anyone know if the “Heart of The City” book that was released back in 2000 is still available to buy anywhere? I been looking but it seems pretty hard to find and I would love to have a copy of it.

And we didn’t throw it out if we couldn’t find the missing part of our finger in it.

I used to buy bagged salad, but it expired too fast. Better to buy the components separately. And with my method, no chopping is necessary.

Oh, Dukedoug, I am SO JEALOUS! My entire garden failed this year and I don’t have a single thing to show for it. Enjoy some coleslaw for me, OK?
