Well that’s a bit of a unnecessary rush to get to Christmas.I prefer to savor the anticipation/wait of the coming of Christmas rather than jump to it straight.
I disagree with stores being open on Thanksgiving and Christmas day. Their employees should be able to spend that time with their families. But retail moguls want to squeeze every last dime that they can out of Christmas. That being said, I bought some Christmas decorations yesterday. :P lol
I suggested to the store manager that they just get it over with and keep a Holiday aisle open all year round since they are headed in that direction anyway. That went over about as well as Heart’s protest…
Less than a month until Christmas? Oh, my heart is breaking. No, stores do not need to roll out Christmas stuff before Halloween. There’s plenty of profits to be made between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and any ahn-trrrep-re-newer who fails to do so in that period, that season, is very poor at business.
Maybe stores should try better marketing during the rest of the year and some of us are not any of the christian denominations and even if we were would we want to celebrate our most holy personages birth with crass consumerism and and coveting of material possessions, doesn’t your bible have negative writings on that?
