We played an unusually nutty game. Everyone gets in a circle facing inward. Hands cupped behind your back. Guy walks around in back and picks a likely person. Place a club in his hands at which point the guy chases you around the circle beating the crap out of you ’til you get back to his place in the circle. Then the beater walks around and continues the carnage.

And kids like Dean probably don’t have much enthusiasm for organized sports. Who could blame them ?

Unfortunately schools still allow that form of bullying. Our school system still has kids “playing” it in gym about once a week in the winter months.

If you really need a “home plate” for kickball, it should at least face the right direction.

at least during dodgeball i could last a long time hiding behind people. the humiliation of never ever getting the ball over the net in volleyball will stay forever

Not gonna get far with the point of home plate pointing toward the pitcher’s mound.

“Don’t expect much.” We never do.
