As a kid during one huge growth spurt i used to sometimes get diaphramatic spasms when i would get hiccups. The result was a huge inflow of air so it would go from hiccups to burp to hiccups, and on and on. Very uncomfy if it went on long, but incredibly entertaining for the younger set.
My 93 year old, very prim, mother could beat his decibels…: – )She does her noisy emissions in the bathroom when the fan is on and she thinks we don’t hear her…

oh yes, I had students like that. I had to work hard not to smile. Then give them the, “that was great dear but for another time and another place”.
